Glenmore Reservoir
We biked on the Elbow River Pathway from downtown Calgary to do a loop around the reservoir. This place is huge and also covers the Weaselhead Natural Environment Park. The trail throughout is well maintained and the view is pretty rewading
On the lookout Banff Springs Golf Course
Sandy Beach Park
This is a part of our biking trip to Glenmore Reservoir. One thing for sure, this beach is not sandy at all. High above the beach is a good lookout trail, it is also a dog lover's paradise.
Reservoir Trail
Elliston Park
Elliston Park or East Calgary Regional Park is located on the southwest side of 17Ave and 68St S.E. Around this peaceful reservoir is a very relaxing walking path.
Big Hill Springs Trail Lookout
Big Hill Springs Provincial Park
Access is on Big Hill Springs Rd. (hwy567), About 20kms west of Airdrie. It has a short hiking trail with small waterfalls and a lookout view.

Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
Access is at the end of 9Ave S.E. The Education Center is open until 5pm only but the trail is open until 9pm. As the name implies, it is perfect for bird viewing.

This zoo is located in the East of downtown Calgary, corner of Deerfoot Trail and Memorial Dr NE.
