Mt. Kidd
Galatea parking lot One of two bridges we crossed Large stream bed towards the gully
We crossed two bridges after leaving the Galatea parking lot, then turned right at a signed fork along terrace trail. We passed a small, dry stream bed then reached a larger stream bed before heading left towards the gully between South and North Kidd.
Crossing a few waterfalls Ian likes climbing on walls Heading towards the broad gully on the left
the trail at this point passes through a bunch of small waterfalls, before reaching the broad ascent gully.
Scrambling on rock walls here is not necessary. Ian is just a natural born daredevil.
Looks like an avalanche visited this area Ascent Gully Ian calling a time out
This scramble was unsuccessful due to unexplainable thoughts... we'll just leave it there.
