The next day, we went for a hike on the mountains to meet the highlanders. The Aitas here are members of the 'Kulot Tribe' (Curly-Haired Tribe) - They plant and hunt to live. The environment here is obviously healthier but same with the low-land tribes, they too are lacking health care.
We were welcomed up here nicely by the Aitas. After our hike to Bisay Falls, They served us 'Putok Sa Buho', a home-grown chicken and rice cooked in bamboo. They also supplied us with unlimited coconuts and coconut juice.
